PERFECT BLUEBERRY PANCAKE RECIPE

Perfect Blueberry Pancake Recipe @ treatntrick.blogspot.com

This  Perfect Blueberry Pancake was super easy and  fail proof.  You can also make it ahead,  store in a fridge and make them fresh at the time of serving.

You can also check my Banana Pancake w/Brown Sugar Syrup. or savory Semolina and Oatmeal Pancake or Onion Pancake for a change.

This  versatile pancake  can be made with other flours too, adding  fruits like apple, strawberry, pear or pineapple.

For best result, allow the batter to rest for 15 minutes  before frying them.

I used 1/4 cup measure to make this Perfect Blueberry Pancake,  so get about 9 pancakes.

FRIED BANANA W/CHOCOLATE RECIPE

Fried Banana w/Chocolate Recipe @ treatntrick.blogspot.com

Super tasty treat made of  banana.   This Fried Banana w/Chocolate is dipped in coating batter, fried  then drizzle with chocolate. The combination  works better than you  might expect. these sweet and juicy  dessert  taste even better  when served hot.

I used ripened banana, slice it diagonally.  It is best to slice it last    to avoid discoloration.

After mixing the batter, you could add one or two tablespoon more water if it is too thick.  The batter should be the  right  consistency to coat the banana well.

Instead of deep frying, I prefer to shallow fried them as not to  waste so much oil.  Always avoid re-using the same oil.

Fried Banana w/Chocolate turned out  awesome.  We clean up the whole batch immediately.  Eating them on their own was delicious but with chocolate. it tastes even better!

STOVETOP RAISIN BREAD RECIPE

A quick raisin bread made over the stove top.  If you are away from your oven or your oven was no longer working. you  should check out this Stovetop Raisin Bread to continue enjoying your favorite bread.

To bake bread without oven,  the following utensils could be used:
Saute pan
Deep pot
Dutch oven
Pressure cooker
Skillet
Wok

Whatever utensil you choose,  make sure to have  sufficient space for  distribution of heat and even cooking.  That means after putting a loaf pan or cake tin. it has a gap between the sides and top of pan before putting the lid on.

Another important measure to consider, avoiding the bottom part to get burned.  Either put a layer of salt or  trivet, pot holder rack/or ceramic plate before putting the pan.

I baked my Stovetop Raisin Bread using 36 cm wok Layer the bottom with salt before putting the loaf pan.

The downside of the method was that your can't get golden brown color top  as you get using conventional oven.

CHICKEN PAPRIK / AYAM PAPRIK RECIPE

Chicken Paprik/Ayam Paprik Recipe @ treatntrick.blogspot.com
Top post on IndiBlogger, the biggest community of Indian Bloggers
A combination of chicken and vegetables stir fried  in spicy sauce. .

I used to buy this Chicken Paprik when I lived in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur few years ago.   Am craving to eat my favorite chicken dish now..

As always a store bought has very small portion and very little veggies.  It is so satisfying to cook Chicken Paprik in your own kitchen with your choice of vegetables and sauces.

You may include long bean as well but I don't like it so  exclude  them from my recipe.  Reduce  the water if you prefer a fairly dry ones.

It  is entirely up to you to increase or decrease the amount of sauces added including the chili paste and bird's eye chili.

GROUND BEEF & TOMATO SOUP RECIPE

Ground Beef Tomato Soup Recipe @ treatntrick.blogspot.com

A nutritious   meat and tomato soup flavored with curry powder, onion, garlic and  ginger.

You cam  make this Ground  Beef  & Tomato Soup with chunks of beef or mutton  and slow cooked for hours.  But I want a quicker way so prefer to use ground meat.

There is no right or wrong to use your own preferred spices for making this Ground Beef & Tomato Soup.  This time I use  a  ready made chicken curry powder or mix your own consisting of coriander powder, chili powder, cumin and turmeric.

It was rather thick, you may add more water for  extra  gravy.  If desired, other vegetables like carrot, potato  or other beans could be added too. .

YOGURT ROLLS RECIPE

Yogurt Rolls Recipe @ treatntrick.blogspot.com
Top post on IndiBlogger, the biggest community of Indian Bloggers

A soft and fluffy Yogurt Rolls to kick start your day. Am addicted to bread baking and always on  look out to try out new recipe.

After long time, I have baked a bread using yogurt like this  recipe.    But this time  using  butter and lesser time to knead the dough.  The dough was very sticky so you need to add 1-2 tablespoon of flour to knead them.

To shape it, divide dough into 6 equal portion.  Roll each portion into a smooth ball.  Yogurt Rolls can be shaped into one big loaf as well.    .

I don't mind  to wait more than  2 hours  because in the end  we have these gorgeous rolls to enjoy!

TOMATO FISH RECIPE

Tomato Fish Recipe @ treatntrick.blogspot.com

Top post on IndiBlogger, the biggest community of Indian Bloggers
A different fish  gravy that uses a  lot of onion and tomatoes.  Tomato Fish  is a milder version and was slightly thicker than  regular  fish curry.

It is better to use a meaty white fish with less bones like red snapper, toman, thread fin, sea bass and many more.  You can  buy a whole fish then request the the stall to slice it for you.

After cleaning, the fish is coated with  lemon juice, chili powder and turmeric before it goes to frying pan for shallow frying.

Nest step, we are going to prepare the sauce by frying onion until it turns soft, adding chili powder  as per your liking  and turmeric. Add in tomato  and cooks until it  is mushy. this will take about 10 minutes. Top with water and bring to  a boil.

After the sauce is thicken, slide in the fried fish.  Allow to simmer for a few minutes before removing from heat.  Tomato Fish is ready to be served with  steaming hot rice or chapati.
